Is your cookie banner really compliant?

Send us your site address. A specialist visits your key pages like a first-time visitor, lists the cookies and scripts that fire before consent, and checks your banner and your Google Consent Mode v2 signals. You find out whether your site is compliant and, if not, what it would take. Free, no access needed, no commitment.

What we look at

Six points that decide whether your site is compliant

We observe your site from the outside, like a visitor: no access needed, and we change nothing.

Trackers before consent

Cookies and scripts that fire before the visitor chooses: the most frequent reason for CNIL sanctions.

Your banner

Refusing as easy as accepting, clear purposes, nothing pre-ticked, and a way to change one’s mind later.

Consent Mode v2

The four signals sent to Google (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization): their default state and their update.

Third-party pixels

Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and other tags that ignore Consent Mode and must be blocked by the consent platform itself.

Your key pages

Home, a product or service page, the contact form and the checkout: where most tags load.

Your cookie policy

Whether it lists what really runs on the site, and how long choices are kept.

How it works

Three steps, nothing to install

  1. You send your site address

A short form: your site and, if you know it, the consent platform you use (Axeptio, Cookiebot, Didomi…).

  2. A specialist visits your key pages

In a fresh browser, they refuse everything, then accept, and record what fires each time: cookies, scripts, signals sent to Google.

  3. You receive a clear verdict

By email, within a day: compliant, minor fixes, or a site to bring into line, with the list of what was observed.

Why it matters now

A banner alone does not make a site compliant

Article 82

The CNIL and its European counterparts check websites that drop trackers without consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, GDPR), and fine organisations of every size, from global groups to small businesses.

If Google Analytics or an advertising pixel loads before the click, the site is not compliant, whatever the banner says. And since March 2024, without the Consent Mode v2 signals, part of your Google Ads measurement and remarketing no longer works properly for visitors in the European Economic Area.

The free check tells you where you stand. If your site needs it, Consent Integration installs or reconfigures your consent platform, wires Consent Mode v2 and gives you a page-by-page test report, at a fixed price. You decide after reading the check.

What the free check is not. It is an observation of your public pages, not a legal audit and not an intervention: we change nothing. The configuration and tests are the work of Consent Integration.

Questions about the free check

Is it really free?

Yes. No payment details, no commitment. If your site needs work, the verdict tells you what Consent Integration would do, at the fixed price shown on the pricing page. You pay only if you decide to go ahead.

Do you need access to my site?

No. We visit your site like any visitor. Access (to your site or Google Tag Manager) is requested only if you then order Consent Integration.

Which pages do you check?

Up to five key pages: the home page and the ones you choose (a product or service page, the contact form, the checkout). Tell us which pages matter most in the form.

And if my site is not compliant?

The verdict lists what was observed and what to fix. You can then order Consent Integration from the pricing page: an expert does the work and you are charged only once it is delivered and validated.
